Pause Here. Pick It Up Later: Saving Your Progress

A short session does not need to mean starting again. Retro Kid supports save states, which let you return to a saved point in a game.

Save from the quick menu

1. While playing, press SELECT + X.
2. Choose Save State.
3. Select a save slot and save your progress.

Remember the slot you choose. Separate slots are useful when more than one person uses the same console.

Return to a save

Open the quick menu again, choose Load State and select the slot you saved. Loading a state returns the game to that recorded point.

Use a shortcut

Press SELECT + R1 to save the current state. Press SELECT + L1 to load the saved state. If you want to choose a particular slot, use the quick menu.
